8th Grade Cohort - Service Opportunity
The 8th Grade Environmental Service Cohort would like to invite you to some local events happening that are a part of the ban the straw movement. Check them out here and look for some announcements in your class or at Morning Meeting.
There is a MLK jr Day clean up on MLK street this Monday from 10-12pm. Join me and some of our Animal/Water cohort as we work to keep our oceans, rivers and streets clean!
We will meet at Cosube Surf before walking MLK Blvd cleaning up trash and cigarette butts to ensure they do not reach and pollute our waterways.
Coffee and snacks donated by Cosube.
Safety vests and equipment provided. Dress for the elements and bring a non-disposable water bottle. Human and fur child friendly. Please arrive for check-in by 10:00am.
