The following blog post applies to current 7th grade students only...

TO DO Monday, February 26th:

1. Research, Make Connections, Organize Service Project

Students determine where they can connect their interests and energy to a local organization and set up a plan to complete their service, requiring at least 2 visits and a minimum of 4 hours total.

Helpful resources to figure this part out (this is the hardest part of the project and was due today!)

2. Tell us your 7th Grade Service Project Plan --- 7th Grade Service Project Plans 2018... Fill out this Google Form about your 7th Grade Service Project plan

3. Complete the 7th Grade Service Project - My Plan handout (located on the computer cart)

4. Next steps...
a. Look through your main pink 7th Grade Service Project Assignment sheet. Make sure you are on track with your project. Update your planner to have these important due dates on them
b. Spend 10 minutes learning more about your organization. Find their main website, gather some interesting facts and images about them, become on expert on what they do and why
c. See Michael if you finish all of the above and there is still time left in today's class...

Late Start Babysitting 2/21 - 8:30 - 10:45

Late Start Babysitting

Where: The Maker Space or the Auditorim (check both)

When: Wednesday, Feb. 21st, 8:30 to 10:45 

If you sign up it is expected that you stay off your phone and engage with the younger students.

If you show up on Wednesday without confirming you are volunteering, we might have to turn you away due to logistics and numbers (last time we had more middle school students than younger students and it ended up feeling like people were having to "babysit" the middle schoolers)
